GENERAL COMMENTS

When you plan your event it makes common sense to list out your objectives and timescale. For instance if the event starts at 2.00 pm then you will need to set up and test the equipment before 1.00 pm - the extra hour allows for early arrivals of participants, time for you to relax and to sort out last minute problems. By working backwards through your schedule you may well find that you need to start setting up well before 1.00 pm and collection of your equipment from us even much earlier. Please do not turn up in a rush to collect your equipment as frequently we find customers forget or leave something behind!

Time is your greatest enemy. You can never have enough time.

We will help you with equipment but you will also need to make a list of your requirements.

AND FINALLY - ADVICE FOR DUMMIES

If you know nothing about operating sound, video and lighting equipment we strongly recommend that you hire us to carry out the delivery, installation and operation of everything. Just consider how embarrassing it could be for you during the event when things go wrong. It can also become expensive if you damaged the equipment hired. Our comprehensive inclusive charges then look to be very sensible and enable you to get on with what you do best for your event. We base our inclusive charges on the equipment hire charges ("the dry hire"), to which we add an allowance for delivery, collection and all operating and labour charges, making it as known in the trade as a "wet hire". An additional bonus is that we bring the basic equipment that you requested plus extras just to make sure everything is covered and your event is a success!
